Labour Day Training. Labourous.

Found these random motivational quotes. Well, I thought the first one was very me. Somehow, I really do take pleasure in proving people wrong.

"The greatest pleasure in life is in doing what people say you cannot do".
Walther Bageholt

The difference between perseverance and obstinacy is that one often comes from a strong will, and the other from a strong won't.
Henry Ward Beecher

Whatever you can do or dream you can, begin it. Boldness has genius, magic and power in it. Begin it now.
Goethe

Life is just a blank slate, what matters most is what you write on it.
Christine Frankland

Paddled k2 with Janice today. It was a fun Fun FUN F-U-N training! But painful too. The pins and needles tingling sensation in my left leg isn't going away :( Shall try putting some muscle ache cream on it today. It's been almost a week already. sigh. Anyhow, it's been 2 good, no, great trainings in a row! My back's really aching now.

After training Jo, YaLi, Janice, Nina and I went to town, shopping! Woohoo! It's been a long time. All the shoes in Parade were at 15 bucks and Jo bought a pair from there. On top of that, she also bought a skirt. I also bought a shirt from there, and it's yellow! but the highlight of the day was lunch though. We ate at Subway. Yum. My favourite Ham sandwich. Footlong! Sigh, too bad Jas. You weren't there:(

There GP mock tomorrow. Good luck and good night everyone! :D See you tmr!

is it just me?

suddenly i feel like a trapped animal or something. why are there so many restrictions in life, so many things to do yet so little time? as i read some people's blogs, i realised that there are many things that have to be changed, be it my personal life or trgs.

i couldn't go for trg today coz my parents were quite quite against it for some reason. ok maybe coz they think that my results aren't that good too and i should be home studying now. whatever! but does it actually make a difference if i go for trg or sleep until abt 9 before eating breakfast and reading newspaper until 11? i feel like i'm not doing enough to face the team. i mean. everyone is training so hard and stuff ( esp after national juniors) yet now, i'm more restricted than before, as in i'll have to ask for permission to go trg on sundays =(
previously, i could still say that it's coz we've got a competition coming up soon so we'll have to go down on sundays too... sigh. 4 months. in 4 months time, we'll all have to give our very best and pia. can we be at out down period now? i still think that i'm physically and mentally weakening. i think i may need some motivation to carry on with this.

some one sent me a msg yesterday saying that sometimes giving yourself a break is better than trg. it left me wondering. seriously wondering. wondering about everything...

i shan't continue now.
gonna mug now
and don't worry, i love this team

yeah.

Summer cleaning

It's spring cleaning here, only later. Getting really kind of dusty here. And DEAD. Oh well. 'Summer' really is getting on full swing. The monsoon season's gone and in it's place the sweltering heat has taken over. Resulting in Janice and I getting burnt during National Juniors. Luckily we put on plenty of moisturiser after that so we didn't peel :D Hmm, what else. Well, both of us went down to MacRitchie at 7.15 am in the morning to paddle. And surprise, surprise! We were earlier than Bill and here we all thought he lived in MacRitchie. Today was k1 session and I did the new stroke, or at least tried to. It's really very mentally consuming. Physically too. My back's aching right now. But Amanda still says I'm punching down. Well, I really tried. Then after 10 laps, Amanda did the technique session with Janice. We went to change after the short session and I showed Janice the photo of my new pair of shoes, I bought at Jurong Point, in my phone. Muahaha! I L-O-V-E my tiny feet. It was the last pair and I bought it for S-I-X bucks! Wah! :D (Haha I sound like some ah soh) It's kind of like a set with my wallet, the print's the same. So retro :D When I left Jurong Point, I saw Michael and Jeff walking in and for some unexplainable reason, I ran away. Hmmm, I also don't know why. Other than that, I bought my white pasta sauce there also. 2 bottles. YUM x 2. The main reason why I was there. Love liberty market.

Well, see you guys tomorrow! Or if you're not reading this today, I'll probably see you soon anyway :D
