last day of school

It's holidays! well, supposingly. haha..yups hope that everyone's in a good mood today! had lots of fun today! training was fun too! imagine squeezing 12 ppl in one pathetic lane. we had a hard time deciding how to make the best out of the situation. haha. well well. one year has passed so quickly. time really flies. have you ever had time to look back at what you did this year? think now's the best time to do so or maybe one of the best times. there's still chinese coming up NEXT week! good luck everyone who's taking chinese too! yups. i'm sure we'll be able to make it? =) whatever it is, i'm sure that we'll have each other's support right? ( RIGHT ) coz we're ONE team that has ONE heart and ONE mind =) oh ya and for ppl who are fed up abt pw, hang in there! there's only OP left and it is less than a month away yup. hee

i miss my secondary school. do you too? 4 years studying there and now when you go back to the school, teachers there greet you as though you are their friend and everything in the staffroom seems so welcoming. the teachers really show their true side behind closed doors. just 30 mins there and i really really miss being in the school. everywhere you go, teachers would be able to recognise you and create a conversation with you. sigh. those were the days. the school's functioning for just 1 month and 1day more.after that, all this would be part of history, the building, our secret places, corridors that brings back a load of memories... i wish, i wish, i wish...

this day, i saw tong's msg. Seriously, I was quite upset because I haven't really got to know you yet, tong! u're leaving so soon... really really will miss you though. With you around, everyone would be so happy and entertained coz u're so cute and bubbly! haha.. Only you will do some weird stuff like that day...

there was this day when you were sleeping soundly in the library...with jas opposite you...and suddenly, some one pokes your face...you opened your eyes to check out who it is and you saw ruiyan. after that, you happily went back to sleep. later, upon waking up, you ask jas if ruiyan did that to her too but when jas said no, you begin to wonder if it was a dream... finally, when you saw ruiyan, you ask her innocently,'' hey ruiyan! did you poke me in the library or was i dreaming?''

Dearest Team 2007,
tong here. hmm. i will be quitting the team. it is a very painful decision and i'm really sorry that i have to drop out. thank you all for being there for me through my most difficult times. i never competed and i never made great contributions to the team. but you guys have given me some of the best memories of my life. trainings have been tough and sometimes i find it a wonder that i even survived at all. But i know i would not have been able to do it alone. when i want to let go, i remember that my entire team is sharing the pain with me and i hang on. when i want to give up, i know that i have my whole team behind me and there's nothing left to fear.

when i first joined canoeing because of personal reasons. but i grew to love this sport. sun. water. paddle. but now i feel, that canoeing is more than just a sport. it is a kind of attitude towards life. just be merry and row. for life's but a dream. but when you wake up, please do not forget me. because i'll never forget you guys. and the great camaradarie we've shared.

i've always thought that canoeists are strong inside out. please stay strong, team of 2007. ac dragons will shine. i just know. i can't emit light anymore, but i'll always be behind you. all of you. -the light that keeps me going.
