A scary thought

you know what? in just 2 WEEKS' time, (yes, it's weeks not months or years!) we're all going to be officially J2s! How scary is that? Have you all done your homework? I haven't really done mine =( that's why i'm panicking now. Can't go out with you all for lunch and stuff until school reopens i guess. Really got to pia all that coz once we're in for lessons, there wont' be time to catch up anymore! grumble. what did i do with all my holiday time * ponder* time to buck up i guess!

i was just wondering about how life would be if i wasn't in this team. hmmmmm...it's like there's so many things happening now, around me, everywhere! MY mind is in a swirl and i think i'm thinking a little too much. that's what happens when i'm scared or like racing against time. sigh sigh sigh...

ok! no time for blogging already! got to complete the 7 days lesson of econs (bleah! what 7 days...each day has SO many parts that i don't even think we can complete one day's work in 2 days alone! bleah)

i'm going off AGAIN

Challenging lapping with Rui Yan today. Nice first 2km time though. It was 11 something if I'm not wrong. Balance was Crap, with a capital C. I'm just not Samme I guess. Sorry Rui Yan. Made you cap during our LAST lap. Sigh. So wasted.

Just yesterday I tried rowing with different people and different crafts. Rowed with Faith for about 8 to 10 laps. I don't think we have partner magic. Dom said our kicking was not coordinated and though I was pulling so hard, our timing for 1km was 6 plus. 6.20 maybe. But rowing with Chris was much better though. Haha. Muscle Man. So fun, although tiring. Going there was so fast. Everything felt like it was speeding past. Best thing was, the boat was very balanced - by my standards of course. Going back, we clocked 5.15. Hah! Not bad for first time partners.

Oh, actually the whole point of me blogging is not any of the above but about the National Kayaking Marathon. Got some infomation about it.

There will be one portege point for K and C class events of about 150 metres. The distance for Senior Men (K1 and K2) will be 36 kilometres; Senior Women and Senior Men 'T' will be 29 km; the Junior, Masters and Senior Men 'C' will be 22 km and the Novice categories will be about 14 km.

Besides medal for the top 6 positions (subject to the number of entries), cash and attractive prizes from sponsors also await the top paddlers at the K and C class events.

The entry fee for affiliated member/school is $20 per participant and non-affiliated member is $30 per participant. A refund of $5 will be given upon returning of your bib number or number plate.

Preliminary Registration 'Form A' of events must be sent in by 5th January, by the following means:

muahaha.. it was the fun session on sat! guys were supposed to pair up with the girls. :)
oh and this whole episode on the ''power of love'' thing is so funny.. hee. still can't get over the fact that bill started this! haha... hmmm..

but i still do think that there would be another victim for this ''power of love''. think you also do know who huh? * wide grin*

ok shall talk a little about the std chart thing. i almost lost my voice because of it! i was a road marshal, situated on the same stretch (A2) as janice, ruiyan, samme, joanne, geyi. yep. jas and ca were at the finishing area and charmaine, nina, melodie were at A3 . the guys were....i don't know where.. haha.. we were all split up but it was still quite fun though. we saw alot of ppl running but sadly, didn't manage to spot lucas and yiren. haha. oh and you should have seen the 1st part of the race! everyone was running together and it was really a herd of people, i must say. It was so exciting when the 1st batch of runners ran past. by the way, it was the friendly traffic police (stationed at the same junction as me) who told me that they were coming alr. :) that was about 44mins plus after their starting. O.o btw, at my station, is was alr 14km done. yep. 1/3 of their race. hee. really thought that all the runners did a good job! they finished their race although the last one really walked through all the way and walked very slowly somemore. we wanted to pack up alr but they said that we still had to wait for that last runner. grr..neh. janice and i used taht waiting time to sleep. haha!

well well! that night was spent at marina square then suntec's starbucks then padang! haha. did many many random and stupid things! haha. ok think i've said enough * cough cough* haha. yeps. after 16 hours of sleep, i'm still a little tired...hahah...how long did you pple sleep after you got home? haha..

TRAINING today was so fun! haha! fun session. though i didn't get to row with any guy, i got to row with JAS!! whee...

it was so fun! so exciting! and i was dying out half way but that partner of mine kept motivating me, so we pushed and i tell you, i was pulling each stroke for her. coz i know if i'm going to stop or just slap water, she'll have to stop too. and i'm afraid of making her stop...haha...scared that she'll scold me...muahaha... was so tired after that but at the same time, we felt great and continued to do starts and helicopter blah blah blah! maybe we're kind of deprived of some company...hahah...but it's really realy fun today!!! wheee....

I tell you, today will be the most fun day ever! we're not gonna sleep throughout the night!!! hee...spending the night with the team! oh well, it all started with the std chart marathon. yes! that marathon. but we're not running, just doing cip. so we've got to report at 2.30am at padang!! hahah.. coolness! can't wait for later. ok. i should be sleeping now so i'll just end here!!!~
